Burkhan-Bulak Waterfall — Private Jeep Tour from Almaty

Burkhan-Bulak is one of the tallest and most remote waterfalls in Kazakhstan — a 168-meter cascade dropping through the forested slopes of the Dzhungar Alatau mountains.

What you'll experience: The waterfall is fed by glacial melt from peaks above 4,000 meters. It drops in multiple stages, with the main cascade falling freely for over 100 meters before crashing into a rocky basin. The surrounding valley is dense with Tien Shan spruce, alpine meadows, and silence — mobile signal doesn't exist here. Reaching the waterfall requires a multi-hour trek from the point where the road ends, but the payoff is a completely untouched natural site.

Why Wildtour: The approach road is rough, unmaintained, and requires real off-road capability — this isn't a route for standard vehicles. Your luxury 4x4 (Land Cruiser or Land Rover) is built for this terrain. The tour includes overnight camping near the trailhead, with all gear provided. Meals are prepared over an open fire. Starlink keeps you connected in one of Kazakhstan's most isolated valleys.
